Day of the Century

Day of the Century? What does that mean? It means that today’s workout will involve doing each exercise listed below for 10 sets of 10 reps!

We’ll get 100 reps per exer. 600 reps is the Rx, so get to it!!!

Day of the Century

Bicycles or Chops

Dbl Rev Crunch

Side Lunge to One Leg Hop

(Do side lunge, when you start to return to a standing position we want to hop up using our leg that is planted.)

Dive Bombers

Squat & Press

(use a sandbell, weight plate or a dumbbell. Squat with arms in hang position, touch or almost touch the floor with your choice weight, when entering the erect portion of the squat press the weight up & above head, bring it back down & repeat. If using a dumbbell be sure to have your hands on the ‘knuckles’ of the dumbbell, it works much better.)

Join the Rowing Revolution

I think I may just do that...

I have used a Concept2 rower before & loved it. It was a great workout! I felt like my whole body was working, I liked the movement & best of all it is awesome for cardio!

Concept2 is the standard rower for colleges & universities to the pros.

The Concept2 Story:

Concept2 got its start in 1976 in the back of a bread truck when Dick and Pete Dreissigacker, fresh from Olympic training, started making composite racing oars—now the oar of choice among the world's rowers. They went on to create the Concept2 Indoor Rower, now used worldwide by Olympic athletes, cardiac rehab patients and every caliber of rower in between.

Since then we've grown to over 50 employees, and our product line includes the Indoor Rower and Dreissigacker Racing Oars. Though much larger than we once were, we remain dedicated to providing the most innovative rowing products and programs to our customers.

Hopefully a review will follow soon!

Be sure to check them out at Concept2

Wowza! 2010 Already?

Well it has been a while since we updated the blog! Got too busy to maintain it & figured I'd get back to it at some point...guess this is it =]

We have already welcomed 2010 & made our resolutions, right? Do you make resolutions? If so, what percentage of your resolutions do you keep? I have seen articles saying everything from 80%-92% of the resolutions are broken before Valentine's day...then why do we make them? Because we mean well, when we say them. They are wishes & hopes for ourselves for the future, this year turn those percentages in your favor!

Start your workout light if you have to, start only 2 days a week if you are short on time, just start!!! The only way to get it done is to go do it! We all want to be healthy & look good, we have to do the work though. If there was a simple way to do it we would have found it by now!

Just remember, if you are wanting to make resolutions, make them attainable, make them a priority and of all things, don't make excuses!

What were you doing at 5:30am today?

Well if you were too cool for school you were at camp having a blast!

Awesome new camp is in the 3rd week somehow...it goes so fast! Anyhoo we have a packed out camp with some noobs & vets that are always ready to rock (and if not they rock anyways!). 5:30a is early, but getting your workout done early morning means the rest of the day is a breeze so get in & get some!!!

For those wanting to call me out a bit for not having blogged for a few weeks, please fear not. I am not a natural born blogger so it takes a bit of work & time so gimme a chance & I will stay on top of it as much as possible to keep fresh Workouts of the Day (WoD) & fresh info in here.

Keep rocking, rolling, huffin', puffin', heavin' or whatever it is that gets you through a workout!!!
